System Migration

Tuesday, January 13, we will begin the process of migrating our system from a local server to the cloud.

On Tuesday until 12 pm, our system will be down. During this time, patrons will only be able to check-out materials if they have their physical library card and will only be able to check-out 5 items. The public will also not be able to access the library's online card catalog and the connection with our Libby app will be disrupted. Please plan accordingly. 

During the remainder of the week, January 13-16, patrons will not be able to place holds but most other transactions will take place as normal. However, the availability of the online card catalog and the connectivity to with the Libby app may experience issues. 

The projected completion of this project is Friday, January 16, with operations returning to normal at some point during that day.

We are taking these steps to correct the connectivity issues patrons experience with the Libby app and the card catalog during the evening hours and on the weekends.
